Laser Diode Driver ELM186 Series
ELM186 is a bipolar IC for driving APC mode laser diodes (LD).
【Overview】 This IC incorporates an APC circuit that maintains a constant laser output and can control a forward current of up to 120mA for the LD. It includes a bandgap reference voltage circuit and an APC laser drive circuit, allowing the laser output to be set arbitrarily by an external resistor. Additionally, this IC is implemented in a compact SC-70-5 package, requiring few external components and enabling very small PCB footprints. Four types of ELM186C1A, ELM186C2A, ELM186C3A, and ELM186C4A are available, capable of driving all types of laser diode modules (LDM) with different polarities. Each type of LDM has one common pin, with four combinations available based on the selection of the anode or cathode on the LD side and the anode or cathode on the MD side. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.*
